Jassim Happa from the University of Oxford recently attended to ESORICS SECPRE Workshop in Barcelona to present a paper on “Run-time monitoring of data-handling violations”. The paper presents a novel approach to monitoring personal data permission violations. Read more.

PROTECTIVE, a Horizon 2020 project, aims to improve the various EU National Education and Research Networks (NRENs) through enhanced cyber threat intelligence sharing capabilities. Throughout January 2017, the University of Oxford, Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT), SYNYO and the Technical University in Darmstadt (TUDA) have conducted surveys, interviews and observations of current cyber threat intelligence gathering and sharing practices of PROTECTIVE NREN partners Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC) and CESNET.
